Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.

Interact is a club for young people who want to join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about. Through Interact, they can -
• Carry out hands-on service projects
• Make international connections
• Develop leadership skills
• Have fun!
Every Interact club carries out two service projects a year. One that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Service projects are an effective way for members to take action at home and abroad, connect with other young leaders, and get members excited about their club.

Club membership varies greatly. Clubs can be single gender or mixed, large or small. They can draw from the student body of a single school or from two or more schools in the same community.
