Rotary Club of Mt Warning AM (Murwillumbah) Inc
There was a buzz of excitement in the air at last week’s Rotary meeting when members of Mt Warning AM welcomed the founders of Orange Sky Laundry, Lucas Patchett OAM & Nic Marchesi OAM, to their breakfast meeting. These impressive young men were also awarded Young Australian(s) of the Year in 2016.
An assortment of Masks.
Making Masks
Kaylene Butler is the star behind this project, after checking on Victorian Health Dept criteria, she set her sights on making the masks with 2 layers of cotton, or 1 polyester & 1 cotton.
Money raised is going to Rotary Projects, & we are very happy to take orders from any & everyone... it was only by chance the day the photo was taken we have Orange Sky Laundry boys, Nick & Lucas at our club.
This is a perfect example of how one ordinary idea can turn into extraordinary.
